Lesson Preview

This lesson will introduce you to the world of Geometry. You will learn the basic definitions and how to name figures and solids. This lesson will explore line and angle relationships. You will learn what kinds of angles  two or more lines can form and how to measure and name them.

Geometry will also help you in other subjects and in real life, too. For example, understanding Geometry will make it much easier for you to use a map and go where you want to go.

Objectives

After studying this lesson, you will know:

• the most important definitions in Geometry,
   
• how to measure angles,
   
• the most important facts of how lines form angles, and
   
• the definitions of figures and solids.
