Every person has to follow rules. Parents and teachers make rules so you will be safe and happy. Laws exist so that everyone lives together in peace.
If you don't follow rules, bad things can happen. If you don't follow laws, many people can get hurt, or you could hurt yourself. |

Do your homework.
Obey your parents.
Follow your teacher's instructions.
Brush your teeth.

There is a difference between rules made today, and rules made long ago.
Today, kids are made to stay after school, or have to do more homework. Teachers do not allow students to chew gum in class. It's loud and it can be a big mess!
