Wouldn't it be nice to know how many quarters  you need to buy that toy? How many dimes  you need to buy two? This lesson will help you to learn to calculate these sums and many more. You will group animals, toys and  seeds; compare numbers and objects. And finally you will be able to identify the American coins and their values.

This lesson includes lots of games and activities. You won't even notice when you learn all these things!

Objectives

After studying this lesson, you will know:

• how to count, read and write numbers
• how to compare numbers
• that one number can have several equivalent forms
• how to count and group objects, and
• the values of American coins.
