Percent

Percent is a common concept is mathematics, science, business, and many other social issues. We use it in everyday life. There are three ways in which we can describe parts as a whole. We learned two of these methods before. They are decimals and fractions. The third way is using percent. A percent is a fraction whose denominator is 100. To show the percent of a number we use the symbol % after the number. For example, 24% equals to 0.24.
