Newton's First Law
Newton's First Law states that an object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will continue in that exact motion if no force changes or stops its motion. Your clothes will stay on your floor at rest unless someone comes to pick them up. An astronaut who gets pushed out of a rocket ship will continue at that speed forever if nothing ever stops him.
