www.eTAP.org supplemental resources Boosts API scores and CAHSEE Pass Rates for Urban Schools

LAGUNA BEACH, CA–September 27, 2007– School principals are reporting large increases in their API scores after using www.etap.org. Also between 90% and 100% pass rates have been achieved by underachieving High School senior students who use eTAP.org for CAHSEE test preparation.

www.eTAP.org is a website that provides easy access to K-12 resources that satisfy each student’s learning style. eTAP’s comprehensive recourses include: instructional text, assessments, practice exercises, worksheets, interactive games and videos.

All eTAP instructional material is aligned with state standards and qualifies for federal and state funding. Being a non-profit corporation, eTAP’s goal is to make educational resources available and affordable to all students at every level.

Some of the problems www.eTAP.org is helping to solve in our schools include:

  • High failing rate of at risk students.
  • High loss of experienced and new teachers, especially at inner city schools.
  • Lack of instructional resources that students find engaging, motivating and effective.

eTAP.org is currently being used by 30 High Schools in the Los Angeles and San Diego area to prepare students for the High School Exit exam with great success.
