LAGUNA BEACH, CA–September 24, 2007–eTAP announces the use of www.etap.org has been found by schools as providing resources that teachers and student need for success.
Blaise Subbiondo the founder of www.etap.org says that “Much of the controversy over No Child Left Behind has to do with how to best help low achieving students. Many educators feel that testing only tell teachers what they already know that they have some low achieving students. Also low income and second language students are often low achievers and NCLB testing only penalizes these students and their teachers. NCLB gives them the label of failing and threatens additional financial punishment. They believe that it is more important to provide them with help which is given by learning resources like www.etap.org . With the use of eTAP resources, teachers are able to see dramatic improvement in their students learning and test scores.”
Cecil McLinn is principal of Duke Ellington High School in Los Angeles California. Mr. McLinn said “After our students began using the supplemental resources provide by www.etap.org we experienced an increase in students passing the high school exit exam and a large increase of 147 points in our API scores. Mr McLinn said that the key to success is giving teachers the learning resources that motivate and engage students.
Some of the comments about www.etap.org from students and other teachers that support Mr. McLinn views are the following.
