Is this program only used in school in the presence of a teacher?Our program is usually used in the classroom under a teacher’s direction. Teachers can also use it for homework assignments and study.To a great extent our program can be used by teachers in a similar way they use their textbooks. The difference is that eTAP provides audio, video, and links to the interactive internet resources which most students find to be a more exciting and engaging way to learn. This is an important way to help students with different learning styles. With a projector, a teacher can show eTAP content in their classroom on a screen or white board. Some teachers are using handheld remote keypads with eTAP quizzes to allow students to record their understanding and progress. All eTAP content is printable and may be used by teachers in a paper form for handouts and quizzes. Access to Discovery videos must be purchased with a separate subscription from United Streaming. The subscription cost for the online videos is about $1800 per high school. Many schools already have a subscription to United streaming. Do students have access of the program from home?eTAP is available to students anywhere they have access to the internet including at home or tin the library. eTAP provides a single password which provides access to all the teachers, students, and their parents for the schools that have a paid subscription. |
