China Reunites

In a previous lesson, we told you about the history of China up through the Han Dynasty (206 BC -220 AD). After this dynasty fell, China experienced almost 400 years of disunity and unrest. Except for this 400-year period, China was ruled by one dynasty after another from 2200 BC until 1911 AD.

Remember – a dynasty is a ruling family that passes control of a country or organization down from one generation to the next.
