Circular Motion

So far, we have discussed only motion in a straight line. In this section, we will use what we have learned so far to see how it can be useful when studying objects in circular motion.

Roller coasters involve both linear motion, motion in straight lines, and circular motion, motion in a circular path.

How far has an object traveled if it goes completely around a circle? Well that depends on if you're asking for the scalar distance or the vector displacement!
