Discrete Probability Distribution
Types of Random Variables
The outcome of a probability experiment is usually a numerical measure. To represent all such measures in an experiment, we designate a variable to the measures of all outcomes called a random variable. In other words, a random variable x describes each of the measures of the outcomes of an experiment in a numerical form.
